I have been training with Adam Poehlmann for 5 months. Before training with Adam I was trying all the “things” on my own, calorie deficit, in the gym 5 to 6 days a week and watching the social media blurbs on how to get the body you want. In my mind not sure what else to do, because I was doing everything.

When I started with Adam, he asked simple questions and gave me direction. We set goals and made a plan. The calorie deficit that I was already trying previous to Adam, was almost the same that Adam had me on. The difference was the minimum amount of protein he wanted me to consume a day. I had to increase my daily protein intake to meet the amount Adam was recommending. Next he challenged me to measure how many steps I was actually taking in a day. What I thought I was getting and what I was actually getting was drastically different. I was very sedentary, but in my mind I was active. I increased the steps to over 12000 plus per day.

With these changes pounds started falling off. I averaged losing 3 to 4 lbs a week for over 3 months. While the fat was coming off, I was leaning out, going from over 21% body fat to 16% and continuing to drop. By Adam’s guidance on different workouts my mobility was increasing and my strength was increasing as the fat was decreasing.

Adam is always available to answer questions and give guidance on each workout on how to improve for better results. He encouraged me along the way.
