Since we're not a local gym or a small studio, we don't have any Poehlmann Fitness facilities you can pop into to get a workout it, but that's ok. It wasn't designed to work like that anyway.
At Poehlmann Fitness, we exist to transform the body, mind, and spirit through personal coaching and sustainable fitness plans for any stage of life. One of the best ways we can do this is by stepping outside of the in-person trainer role, and step into the health and fitness coach role. As you'll learn, this unique transition on our end will bring you a more well-rounded service that's tailored to take you and your results to another level.
So how do we coach you if we're not there with you? Well, all we really need is this amazing app called Trainerize.
Trainerize is an app that was uniquely created for coaches to serve their clients in the best way possible. As your coaches, we prescribe your training plan and nutrition protocol through this app.
When you become a Poehlmann Fitness member, you will be set up with your profile on Trainerize. Trainerize will send you emails that will guide you on how to set up the app and complete your profile, so keep an eye out for those.
When you are going through the app, don't skip through all of the tours and demonstrations it wants to teach you. This is an essential part of the app that will allow you to become familiar with its features quickly.
One of those unique features is Progress. The progress feature of Trainerize allows you to track photos, weigh-ins, tape measurements, body fat percentages, and more!
Similar to the communication between you and your coach, updating your stats is crucial to your progress. Without updated stats like weigh-ins, progress photos, and body fat percentages, we as coaches won't be able to calculate the most effective strategies we believe you should use to reach your goal.
So update your progress and stats!
Depending on your coach's style, he/she will give you a unique protocol that works for the both of you. For some, that may mean weighing in every day. For others, that may mean weighing in once each week.
Whatever your coach decides to do, know that it is best suited for you and you only. With their specialties, coaching styles, and the unique features of Trainerize, we'll be able to make sure you're doing everything you can to improve your health (and body too, of course ;))
