“Before starting this program, I was struggling with holding on to a decent amount of body fat and not very much muscle mass despite looking generally okay and healthy on the outside. ‘Skinny fat’ as some would say. I had a hard time sticking to a plan and with the overexposure of fitness info, I felt kind of stuck on where to begin.
At first I was more unsure of which route would be the best, trying to find a plan on my own, or to find someone who could assist. Trying to plan out my own program wasn’t working at the time, simply because I wasn’t entirely sure on how to start structuring workouts, and struggled with consistency.
My biggest breakthrough was consistency - 100% hands down. I feel like I understood the basic concepts of body recomposition before starting the program, however, I didn’t stick with any kind of routine (diet or fitness) long enough to warrant any results.
Since starting, I’ve 100% become stronger in the gym. Consistently adding weight when I’m ready and lifting decently heavy (for me)! I’ve leaned out and I’m happier with my physique. As of right now I’m in the best shape I have been in and plan on continuing this trend!
