Misery really does love company.
Sadly, the fitness industry has been the epitome of that phrase. We've been told to suffer as much as possible. Whether in the weight room or at the dinner table, we've been told that the only road to health and the body of your dreams is full of training until you puke, and restricting yourself of all things enjoyable.
This is nothing but a lie.
Strict regimens may work for a short period of time, but they're not sustainable. Not only are they unsustainable, they can also lead to an unhealthy and dangerous relationship with food and exercise.
Long story short, eat foods you love! Do types of physical activity that you enjoy! If you end up eating foods you enjoy and exercise in ways that you like, optimal health and wellness will be sustainable for a lifetime.
